Chetumal is one fascinating city located in the southeast of Mexico and the capital of Quintana Roo, with boundaries in the Caribbean, Cancun and Cozumel to the north and some miles away Belize to the south. The Chetumal area is visited by many local and foreign people and offers a wide variaty of activities like cruises, ecotourism, archeological journeys, shopping tours, and rental of boats. Furthermore, being the capital, all the government offices are located in Chetumal, injecting economic prosperity to Chetumal, the reason why Belize was divided in order to create the Corozal Free Zone as a shopping center for the south region of Mexico.
